Beauty is skin deep- Really!!!

keep_breathing-940x300

They say “beauty is only skin deep”. The more learned of the crowd understand that being beautiful externally is  less valuable as compared to being beautiful inside. We cannot agree to it more. But same also holds true for the fact that whatever the universe or god has granted us needs a proper care and maintenance as well. The first sign of identity is the kind of health and happiness a person projects when they meet someone while the inner beauty sustains a person’s relationships only after that. Otherwise the skincare industry would definitely not had flourished to such an extent.

In a world full of random ways of trying to stay young and appear good to look at, it often becomes a difficult job to select amongst the millions of options. The skin tend to fluctuate to lot of external factors like weather, stress, pollutions  etc. However certain factors remain pretty fixed and always need to be considered if we talk about skin care and health. It is true that a person cannot look beautiful if they are a devil from inside (though a lot of times serums and fillers can help) but same holds true for the fact that one needs to pay special attention and devote extra time in today’s world to care for skin’s need. The times have changed, the environmental exposures have changed, the stress levels have changed. The skin of a person of 20 something today faces a lot more of things as compared to a skin of people in 20’s fifty years back. Researches show that nowadays people start facing skin troubles much early as compared to people even 20 years back.

We find however that one thing always holds true. That is the value of moisturization for the skin. Our body is made of around 70% water. A continuous exposure to air conditioning, sun, heaters, pollution strip away the moisture from our skin. We need to replenish this loss on a consistent basis. Even if your skin type tends to be normal to oily, using a high-quality moisturizer on a regular basis can be the key to improving the way your skin looks and feels. Even if you struggle with breakouts, you should still use a moisturizer. No matter whether your skin type is dry, oily or sensitive, you shouldn’t skip the moisturizing step in your skin care routine. Leaving it out might quickly cause redness or flaking, and in time it can allow wrinkles and other aging signs to show up on your skin earlier than they otherwise might. Also, if you have sensitive skin or a skin problem, moisturizing regularly might help ease some of the irritation. Therefore while purchasing the basic skincare and beauty products one should always prefer to buy products which have added moisturizers and emollients in it. It makes sure that even before you add moisture at the last step, you are not stripping away moisture at the first step itself. By adding such small things and awareness to your daily skincare or beauty needs one can ditch dry, flaky, wrinkly skin for good. Using moisturizer has proven benefits for the skin over the long haul. Cleanliness with hydration is what allows skin to function at peak performance.
